Straight to the point, it is about a space mission gone horribly wrong. Sunshine is a sci-fi movie directed by Danny Boyle with an international cast. A team of astronauts missioned to preclude the sun from dying completely by delivering a bomb on board their space ship the Icarus II . As an intended tragedy, the crew died one after another through mishaps from human error as well as sacrifice operations, not to mention by the hand of a mutated crew turned psychopath whom had abandoned the first mission 7 years ago. Nevertheless, the mission was successful but with zero survivors.
I've always loved science fiction movies, from Star Wars to The Abyss to the classic 2001: A Space Odyssey. I have to say Sunshine is relatively plausible on the plot and it's audio visual treat is excellent. I wouldn't mind getting the DVD once it's available. An exhilarating concept altogether.
