I guess my xbox 360 is sick, or probably there's something wrong with the game [eM]. Just after triumphantly defeating the second last boss in the Golem Battle turn after turn, I couldn't get to save the game. Abruptly the console gave a quirky spinning sound from the disc tray, and immediately appeared the error message.
So I loaded from my last save and tried to replay the level again, after 4 consecutive loses and finally a win, it happened again just when I tried to save the game. Farken.
'If you would have told me that Shalihin would go 27 days without playing, I would have told you that you were crazy. I guess you were right. No games = No joy.'
Quit whining, that's the reason I didn't switch you on, box.
Honestly, I feel so damn ashamed of my senior in-charge. Almost didn’t manage to get home just now, because there’s not enough manpower to come by the afternoon shift. He already canceled our agreement yesterday, and I had to stay back till 10 pm. I didn’t mind as long as I’m able to see mom today after work. Just now he couldn’t even practice flexibility, to take into consideration of his men’s own personal matters. Thank god my colleagues were there for me, they made the call for me to proceed back, NOT the in-charge. I rather not go any further here, because I’m not in the liberty to do so, even if it’s my own blog. Let’s just take this as my personal rant.
I’ve been cracking my head trying to have a workaround on the error messages I keep getting on my computer. First I just can’t get Launchcast to load on both Firefox and IE, and now my Norton Liveupdate is cock-ing up! Nevertheless, at least the browsers are working as it should.. and Last.fm radio stream is so jittery that I rather not listen to it, despite it’s recent data migration which is supposed to make things better! Hell..

I felt like I've lost my virginity today. After the tour of duty I was literally carried by a bunch of morons from the briefing room right to the lift and into the locker room. It was like cavemen whom had just got thier prized game. My hands and legs were gripped, and I felt like it was the last day of my life - anyway, I was too tired to do anything.
In the locker room they started to strip my pants out, and expectedly my underwear. I pleaded not to tickle, so they spared me from it. Suddenly Masri came with something in his hand. It didn't take long for me to realise what it was. To my disbelief, he took the trouble to wipe it on my 'manhood'! Everyone was like a bunch of idiots, laughing. The kiwi came after that. I thank God nothing else was prepared. I heard Sufian had hair gel, kiwi, and the obligatory magic tissue. Ofcourse I recognise the faces who participated. Masri, Jasni and Adrian being the instigators. Iskandar, Zul Iskandar, Hashrin, Shasila. Hamidie and Fazelan got the video on thier handphones. I still have no idea which jerk with the Nutella.
The moral of the story is that it doesn't matter if your birthday is already over. They'll still get you. So much for the magic tissue. I still have that tingling sensation. Morons.
Baybeats 2005 was great, although I was there for barely 20 minutes. How many times have you looked forward for gathering only to end up in a senseless argument, and in the end the meet up never happened?
Was supposed to be in town with Hashrin, pick up Dyn at Heeren. Unfortunately, Hashrin dad need to use the car, so he'll be meeting us a little bit later. At this point of time Hash did not want Dyn to know that he'll be coming, because he wanted to surprise her. At about 8.15 pm I met Dyn by the ATM outside of Heeren. Sufian and Taufik were at Bugis for Shafit's gig. I wasn't there because I was at home sleeping, period.
Dyn and I killed little time at town, bought some squid wraps along the way to Orchard MRT. She said she's putting on weight eating this stuff everyday.
Reached City hall, once the train doors slid open the commuters were ushered by a dozen or more PNSF reservist personnel forming a human chain to block the opposite entrance of the west bound train. At the Flash'n'Splash outlet, while I was browsing for some fleece jacket, Dyn got a call from Jasmin. After a few seconds of conversation she handed the phone to me.
My blood shot up to my skull in an instance. Vulgarities charged into my eardrums as I started listening to his first few words. I could feel my veins popped out around my neck at the point when he shouted on the phone. I got to know that Sufian and himself were stuck at the traffic having difficulty entering the area.
I immediately killed the rumpus by pressing the end call button after I told him to go back home. Who the hell was he speaking too? His little brother?
Dyns words of solace did'nt manage to change my mind. Right now meeting them is the last thing in my mind, atleast for now.
Ofcourse, I got to know they felt the same way for me through Dyn's conversation with Jasmin. I did'nt mind. Since Dyn's phone could not make outgoing calls, I felt that I should fetch her to Starbucks Borders where they have made as their new meeting point. Dyn was persistent trying to make me join the group even until the front of Wheelock, but I just cannot make myself face them.
Hashrin called back, but I rejected his appeal. Jasmin called back, obviously asking me to stop my nonsense. Mengada-ngada? Look who's making the nonsense? I'm sure he can realize that? Sufian called back, but I did'nt pick up the phone. Sorry Dyn. I don't blame anybody. Maybe it's my fault, but the 'I would love to meet you guys right now' feeling is nowhere to be seen. Prolly I left it at the Flash'n'Splash boutique.
At this point of time I'm trying to figure out what the hell went wrong with my Moto E398 PC connector. Windows XP just refuse to recognize its connection. To make things worse, the mobile does not have any IR port, and my laptop's bluetooth got decayed. How am I suppose to transfer all the camera images? This is maddening!! I wish I had my 6670 back. It's all so breezy :)
I'm too surprised at my brother. Bought me a Creative Zen Micro. Almost got myself an iPod Shuffle, despite its lack of graphical user interface (as you might know it doesn't come with an LCD) I still admire its physics. My old Digitball player (read my archived entry) got snapped at the battery cap hinge for the second time (at that time of point I really shook my head violently in disgust, you should have seen my face). Anyway, I'm already too content with Zen. Since It's not my birthday, so he agreed that I'm going to give him $150 for his kindness, about half the purchase price. We're sharing this gadget.
Today is one of the most horrible day of my life! Had fever, the funny thing is I felt really fine in the morning. It all started after visiting the toilet, and I had to be in an air-conditioned room all day! I was shivering like hell!!! I really wanted to go home. And when the time did come to go home, the thought of taking the taxi went down the drain. Super-long queue, and there's no taxi! So damn ridiculous! I had to take the 856 bus. Waited for it so long, and the bustop so cramped with people. Very common on weekends. And when the bus finally came I had to endure anther 40 minutes of shiver. Stupid air-con bus! Brrrrr... After reaching home, popped in two panadols, stripped myself naked (with underwear of course), pulled up my shorts, and two layers of blankets. I shivered in my sleep...
Today is one of the disappointing day, despite a dinner outing at Anjung Warisan near Jalan Petri, Johore. The reason is that my digital camera went bonkers. It was OK the day before. I suspected the batteries cos it can't run a minute on standard alkaline batteries. Then again a friend of mine narrowed it down to the on-off slider switch. Seems it's a little loose resulting in the sudden power cut-off. Dammit. I gotta have it serviced before next month if I wanna bring it for Thailand. Otherwise I have to settle for my 35mm lomo. Which is kinda cool anyway..
I was strolling with her along the coast, holding hands. There was a smile on her face, and mine was a grin which almost reaches both my ears. I can't remember what we were talking about, and where we were. Suddenly my hand phone rang. It got louder and louder. I reached my pocket and took a look at the incoming call. Waitaminute... this is not the ring tone I recognize.
My eyes opened. Fuck!! The alarm! I jumped down from my double deck bed and rushed to the control panel. It got so loud that I actually squint my eyes rushing - I dunno why cos I should have closed my ears instead. I scrambled at the panel feeling very much annoyed and desperately trying to disarm it. My brain was like haywire, trying to recall the button procedures. It lasted about 3 minutes, and finally I've got the right combination and the alarm went off.
Seconds
later the telephone rang. It knew it was from the monitor center, it is their normal follow-up action after getting alarms from clients. False
alarm. At this time I realized the room is a little bit smoky. My mom
was frying something in the kitchen, windows closed. *Sigh* I explained
what happened. She heard the noise, and she thought it was my hand phone.
So much for the stroll by the beach.
Paid a visit to the school today. Caught up with old friends. It was great! I purposely chose a Saturday since half of them on section off. I felt that I need not to visit on a working day anyway. Why wouldn't I drop by on a weekday? Most of them are in. I know, but I think I shouldn't come down on a weekday. Anyway, met Mustafa and signed the referral form. I'm looking forward for the interview.
Saw Sleepers the other night. Cool movie. Awaiting for Payback. Talk about great television shows, I discovered Central slotted some cool movies too. Their Print To Screen is my favorite.
Right now the song Hazard is hitting hard on me. It's playing on the radio. Ouch!
I think I need to get out more often this coming week.
